I had previously struggled with trying to get Autologon to work, so I had tried the netplwiz fix, AND done autl Registry fixes that are recommended in ddownload places, and that include changing the. That gave me Autologon for a local user account but not a Microsoft account, and I hadn't changed it back. After thinking more about this issue, I I decided to change it back, autoo now it no longer tries to Autologon to the default Admin account!

Thanks, auo I had tried for days to make it logn, many times with netplwiz, and failed. But perhaps the upgrade to actually DID overwrite some corrupted file - in any case, after fixing the problem of coming up in the default account, netplwiz started working as it is supposed to - now, after a power-up, it brings up my avatar and the logon screen for about a second, then does the autologon - it's working!

Hi t4. I've not heard skipping login has stopped working. MS Account requires the password. Start with Step 4 to turn off Startup freeloaders which can conflict and cause issues, then Step 7 to check for infection the most thorough way, then step 10 to check for damaged System Files, and also Step 16 to test a new Local Admin account. Then continue with the other steps to go over your install most thoroughly.
